At Scholars’ Academy, our collaborative purpose with Teens For Food Justice is to enhance the accessibility of fresh, healthy food within the Rockaway community. . We’re honored to become a part of Teens For Food Justice’s Hydroponic Farm system to decrease food instability in our community. Throughout the process, the Farm Team will collaborate with various teams in Scholars’ Academy to complete various parts of the process. Our own mission in Scholars’ Academy is to provide as much of our Scholars’ Family with an abundance of leafy greens and fruits from our farm. Once harvested, our goal is for as much of our crops to reach your tables at home!
